Project 366 rewind, weary

Chic Homeschool Mama

The prompt for this week is weary, very fitting I might add.  I've watched Little's more than the norm, that takes energy to say the least, getting ready for vacation, trying to remember everything, get the laundry done, it will all be worth it once we get there, and I can breathe. Didn't feel too creative this week, but here is the week in rewind

No school today, teacher in service, so the boys came over for breakfast

Tuesday a visit from baby boy

#1 being silly after trying a juice of spinach, pineapple, banana, apple. Mama has been working more to get her hours in before vacation.

The most wonderful sunrise today. Went over to visit Lance, Erika, and Rowdy. Lance and Erika are busy packing, washing, and checking lists twice to go for their first visit to Eastern Europe to meet the special child they are wanting to adopt. You can see the button on the side of my blog. Rowdy is blessed with that extra chromosome, and the little girl they hope to give a forever home has that little extra something too.  Weather with windchill is -29 degrees. Please keep them in your prayers for safe travels, and that all goes according to plan. They don't get to bring her home yet, but will get three different visits with her, have medical exams, and hope that all goes well.  If you feel so inclined, and can afford even a little bit, you can click on their link. They are not wealthy people. Erika works part time to provide health insurance, and Lance works full time but is far from rolling in the money.  It costs insane amounts of money to adopt internationally, but they feel like this little girl is meant to be their daughter. You can read their story on the Reese's rainbow link.

We had a visitor Sunday morning. We live in a neighborhood, not out in the country, and in the 20 years we've lived here, never have we seen a deer, so it was most surprising. By the time I grabbed my camera and got outside, she was on the move!

Thanks for stopping by, check back later, I'm sure I'll find inspiration while on vacation!

My daughter lives in the Texas Hill Country and they have resident deer there all year long. They still are quite spooked by humans and especially cameras!
