Scavenger Hunt Sunday .....Joy

The prompts this week were perfect for what was going on in my home. I found all of these on the same day. Trying to focus on the joy around, and not being sad. Too much sadness happening for such a joyful time of year.
                                                                   GUILTY PLEASURE
#1 and I decorated a small gingerbread house. The roof was made out of good n plenty candies. I think I ate almost all of them that weren't used for the roof.

This ornament was given to me by a coworker who is named Joy. I think of her each year when I put it on the tree.

This is one of the angels in my collection of made in Oregon, Margaret Furlong angels. I love how delicate they are and how each one comes with a meaning.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New year. May your new year be a happy and healthy one!

Friday Friday Friday

The days are slipping by and in the blink of an eye it will be Christmas. Yesterday I finished all my wrapping, and today was supposed to be a gingerbread day with by friend Rowdy. Sadly he's got the "crud" and our date was canceled.

I have been having such fun taking photos for people. It warms my heart to see Christmas cards come through the mail, and see my photos on them. Here are a few fun photos that I have taken recently.

Quick hunt

The days are slipping away faster than I can believe. Hoping today will be productive. Here's my hunt for the week.

So I got little guy to not be afraid of the Nutcracker, now we're working on Santa.

A large barn door is decorated so nicely

My version of elf on the shelf!

We had so much fun decorating a gingerbread man

I love girly things, parties, sweets, and of course I love capturing memories for families. This photo shows all of these things, and I love babies, oh so much.

Wordless Wednesday

Christmas, so much we try to squeeze into a few weeks. So many memories to be made. One day at a time.

So he really had fun. He didn't eat much lunch. Had as much candy in him as he put on the gingerbread man. Like we say. What happens at Tutu's stays at Tutu's unless it makes the blog.

Packer's wrap up

Here are a few more photos from our fun time in Green Bay. I can't say enough about the fun, friendly atmosphere that surrounds these games. Tickets are never general admission. They are passed down in families and stay in families for years.

This get up caught my attention, and then what do you know, he sat several rows in front of us!

My favorite player, Clay Matthews. so sad that he was out with a hamstring injury. At least I got to see him, and what a cutie pie he is!

This crazy guy made me cold just looking at him! He did put a jacket on later in the game.

Certainly would return, and I know our son is chomping at the bit to get the chance to do this. Who knows, we may need to make a mother son date, but most likely it would be a father son get away as I'm not so good with the cold weather.  :-)

Did you notice my new header? The fantasticSarah Halstead designed it for me! I love it, and she can do one for you too! Head over and see what she can do.

Wordless Wednesday from a Pre Packer game

The hubs and I flew to WI to check something off of his bucket list. Packers vs Vikings, Green Bay WI. I was totally amused by the Packer fans and all of their spirit. Here is a peek into some of the pre game activity.
The view from our hotel room. 7 AM, windows vibrating from music and the early morning party crew.

This was by far the funniest get up I saw. Holy church of Green Bay.

May tricked out vehicles. Tail gating going strong. Music, food, games, these people live for their football games.

It cracked me up how the locals were dressed in light weight long sleeves, and I had long underwear, sweater, and heavy coat and hat.  All what we're used to I guess!
