Week in rewind...playtime

What does it say about my life that I had to go back and look at the calendar to see what happened on which day? I've had plenty of playtime! The week was heavy with grand kids, which is always lots of fun.
                                                               Monday

Back to the Olympic trials. Babysitting and having sweet seats on the finish line! This was the winner of the women's 800 mm race. She was amazing! It was raining pretty hard, so I left the camera in the trunk. This was taken with the iPhone.

 The little guy and I went on some errands. Buying cat food, he grabbed the stuffed cat and took kitty for a tour of the feed store.

I had to swing by the high school to drop something off for the football coach. This is his first year coaching at our local high school. He and our son were college team mates, and he is bringing a new level of excitement back to our small town. He is a man of character. He will not only teach football, but he will teach young men the right way to behave. So excited for the future.

                                                                     Saturday

 Last day with #1. His schedule was so busy with invention camp, swim lessons, and fielding his many phone calls. We went out to breakfast, picked up some flowers, and I talked him into a quick photo. When he smiles, his eyes just disappear. Such a cutie!

Back to the Olympic trials. Nice weather today, which made for HOT travels with a baby in a pack! We enjoyed ourselves, and got the same sweet seats we had earlier in the week. This gal had an incredible jump that they first ruled a fault. Later is was determined fair jump, and she took first place and is off to London!
