Reflections of the beach

This weekend we traveled up to the state of Washington to go clam digging with friends. It's always fun, and the weather was spectacular!

This was the first dig of the new season, and there were people for miles. It was the lowest tide in a long time, meaning we could walk way out and see who was hiding beneath the sand.

Our arrival to the beach was when the sun was just starting to think about rising. The full moon was in the sky, and one lone digger was out on the beach with a light. The wind was still, and the air was crisp and fresh. What a beautiful morning! Here are some of the reflections of our first morning.

A perfect pink glow as the sun came up to a magnificent day on the beach

This was a most unique dig. Clams were everywhere. It's nothing like I've ever seen! We were finished with our limits of 15 each in a matter of 10 minutes. It almost felt disappointing as it was so much fun, and then it was over.

Here is what a perfect "look" is. the circles with the indentations are what we were seeeing EVERYWHERE.  Our adorable pink and blue clam guns, finished for the day, while clams laugh at us under the sand.

I'm linking up for the #8 finagle a foto. This week's theme was reflections. Thanks ladies for the perfect prompt. It was magnificent!

It was like our theme was meant perfectly just for you MG! These are spectacular, all of them. The first one takes the cake for me though... I can almost smell the fresh, clean ocean air & feel it on my cheeks when I look at it! LOVELY job my friend!

Your pink crab digger is SO cute! I need to add this to my bucket list.)
