This weekend we traveled up to the state of Washington to go clam digging with friends. It's always fun, and the weather was spectacular!
This was the first dig of the new season, and there were people for miles. It was the lowest tide in a long time, meaning we could walk way out and see who was hiding beneath the sand.
Our arrival to the beach was when the sun was just starting to think about rising. The full moon was in the sky, and one lone digger was out on the beach with a light. The wind was still, and the air was crisp and fresh. What a beautiful morning! Here are some of the reflections of our first morning.

|This was a most unique dig. Clams were everywhere. It's nothing like I've ever seen! We were finished with our limits of 15 each in a matter of 10 minutes. It almost felt disappointing as it was so much fun, and then it was over.|
