As I mentioned earlier in the week, we went to the WA state coast for the Easter weekend. At the time we agreed to go, we didn't realize that it was Easter. It's the first Easter we haven't been home, with family, and attending our church's Easter service. It felt funny, but it was sunny and enjoyable.
We did Easter early, and I've all ready posted some of those photos, so here was our very strange Easter clam dig weekend.
Yes, I was hunting for sand dollars, and found several

The clams were plentiful, and most were large and fabulous. The exception was this little guy..we called him a pocket knife. I was the unlucky digger of this small fry. The rules limit you to 15 clams, and you dig it, you keep it is the law. I brought the little fella home and we had a good laugh. |

The rhodies were in bloom |

The shops were decorated for Easter |

We had nice walks on the beach and didn't find a single egg. |

Sadly, I think we will remember baby girl's first Easter being in the hospital. It's so good to see her feeling better now! |

What a cool weekend-clams & eggs! Sounds so great, I'd love to spend Easter at the beach!!!:)
Great color & detail, BEAUTIFUL
I love the bright colors of your eggs!
Wonderful photos of your day. V
i can understand how you felt about being away from home on Easter. We were contemplating being in Boston for the holiday, but things didn't work out to go. Part of me was so excited to be away, but the other part was torn at not being at home, going to church and having it be like our traditional Easter. Looks like a great time though! Your photos are wonderful. I really like the composition of the third one with the eggs and sand dollars. What a sweet shot of the baby girl (so glad to hear she's feeling better!) and that shot of the eggs at the end is so brilliant!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos!
