One Color, Laundry, Empty, One Dozen and Soft.
The first hunt of the year, and I'm ready. I'm waiting on a new lense that is a birthday present, and I check the porch each and every day. Can't wait until it comes. Had hoped to use it for some of the prompts, but alas, it will have to wait until next week.
ONE DOZEN farm fresh eggs. Not overly original, but it's what was available.
ONE COLOR Forget the original blue boy painting, my buddy Rowdy has him beat! Sporting his brand new blue glasses and channeling his inner Elton John, he wins the prize for cutest blue boy around!
SOFT...this may be a stretch, but the hummingbirds sound is so soft, you can almost miss it. I'm amazed that we had a pair of hummers spending the winter in "K" town, when low and behold, there were three of them having "cocktails" at my feeder. This ruby throated bird was a newcomer. His friends are more green colored.
EMPTY...The empty glass sits on the counter waiting to be washed.
LAUNDRY. I love doing laundry. I know, it's odd, it's strange, but I love getting things clean, spots out, and the smell of fresh laundry. I usually throw the things on the couch after they've dried, and this is a rare occasion when the cat didn't try to get in the middle of the warm clothes.

Rowdy is a cutie, and that is a great snap of the hummer- mine are gone and I miss watching them dive bomb each other.

I think you had a fabulous hunt this week. my favorite is empty - love the light and reflection. and I'm amazed that you have hummingbirds this time of year. that's a pretty fantastic photo you caught of him about to feed. happy week to you MG. (did you live in Milwaukee at one time?)
I would love to get a good photo of a hummingbird someday! Your's is terrific. We just don't have that many of them around these parts :(
