Friday springboard

Hard to believe another week has flown by! My new lens is giving me such joy! The combo of crisp, cool days with sunshine have been glorious as well. Aside from showing how much my windows need cleaning, it's been fabulous.  Here are a few shots from the week, and trying to find the good in things. Tomorrow I go to a funeral for a woman who is gone too soon. I'm sad for her, and her family. Life isn't always fair, this I know.

 Went for a visit to see Rowdy and his mama yesterday. Always looking for scavenger hunt items, and "hole" was one...thought I would use this, played with texture, but I may have come up with something different. So fun to take a peek at the bedroom she is putting together for baby girl they want to adopt from eastern Europe.  She has an extra chromosome, and we are hoping that all goes well and she becomes USA bound soon. Rowdy is ready for a sister!

It's been two weeks since Rowdy has spent a Monday with me. His speech therapy is definitely paying off. He was saying "Tutu, Tutu, and OHHH OHHH" such a sweet boy!

Today was the first time I caught the kitties "playing"  I think we're over the hump and they can resume their friendship.

So trying to capture a sun flare. Got it a little bit, but still need to keep working on this..I see other photos where it streams clear across the photo. Any tips gladly accepted.
