Wordless Wednesday

OK, not totally wordless, as not talking has always been hard for me. I was chatty as a young girl. Report cards were always good, except on the section of self control. No, I didn't sit silently and let the day go by. #1 struggles with this too. I say, let the bright ones share what's spinning in their heads. Not sure where that came from, BUT...

Yesterday I went out to my son and DIL's to check out all of the new life. The first baby chicks that weren't hatched in an incubator..excuse the lousy shot, I was shooting blind into a box where they are staying...

And a gift left by one of the other gals.

Mister Mr. came to see what I was up to. Protecting his family?

Missy wanting a little privacy while she lays her egg

This was as close as I could get to the two new kittens. Mama wasn't budging, and I couldn't get under the chair where she decided to put the nursery.

This was the real reason for the visit. Three month's old day before yesterday. Time is flying, and so are her arms and legs. She kicks at the dangling toys and makes the sweetest sounds as we chat and chat and chat. I appreciate her talking..bright minds need to be shared.

First of all... how in the world is sweet girl 3 months old?! LOVE the look she's giving you) I know chickens a lil too well. One of my many jobs growing up on a farm were getting the eggs every morning. Let's just say, chickens are usually very docile & nice... we had the chicken from Hell. Literally. She would chase me out of the coop EVERY single morning. Now I kind of have a phobia of the little feathery creatures! Lol)

Btw, 4th pic from the bottom is REALLY BEAUTIFUL.
