Scavenger Hunt Sunday. wine tasting in Tuscany

Oh such a treat to drive through the lush hills of Tuscany, stopping in quaint towns, tasting the wine, sampling the food. It was all wonderful. Each of us misses this area, and hope to return someday. It was magnificent.

This week's Scavenger hunt is Photographers choice. I have chosen five shots from one day in Tuscany.

Believe it or not, this was a chicken coop. I mean, seriously? I would love to live here!

Never a shortage of Tuscan cats to amuse us.

The doors, sigh, the doors. I need some climbing roses I've decided. They make everything look welcoming!

Wondering how the neighbors would feel if I hung my laundry out to dry? It always seem so much more charming than the piles I grab out of the dryer.

We were in awe of the many castles in Tuscany. I don't know why, but I didn't expect there to be so many, and this one was in pristine condition. From the looks of it, they were never attacked or damaged.

Well, that's it for this week's hunt. We will be home in a few days and when I have time to go through all the photos, I will maybe have time to let it all sink in. It's been a trip of a lifetime. Thanks for stopping by.

Entirely jealous of your trip. Thanks for sharing some of the views. Lovely really. I remember being enchanted with doors and windows in Cuba too.
Keeping enjoying-and wait until you get home and start processing all your photos. Yikes, it's a big job.

Wow, these are gorgeous! I've never been to Italy and I loved seeing your impressions of it. I can't believe that first structure is a chicken coop. I'd love to live in a little cottage like that!

Hubby and I did a bike tour in Tuscany twice. Love it there! Even the chicken coops are historic and picturesque! Did you see the posters of the doors and the one of just windows? They really do things beautifully there, don't they? I'm with you--another visit to Tuscany is surely in the cards for me.
