Scavenger Hunt Sunday

It was interesting. Three families, same beach, different times, and the photos all look so different! The sky was especially pretty at this time.

It was with sadness that we said good bye to my father in law, who left this earth last Sunday. I know he's in a better place, and it is definately a collision of emotions at this time. No more suffering, no more confusion, no more anger. Now he can be at peace. He celebrated his 96th birthday and less than two weeks later he left us. He was never very far from his favorite hat.

I did three family sessions at the beach last Saturday. This family brought their tiny dog with them.

Reflections

Over at Rock the Shot this month's challenge is reflections. Sunday little "J" came by for his six month shoot. I put the mirror on the ground, sad that there weren't fluffy clouds, to reflect in the mirror, but with this sweet boy, he was enough to reflect! Only problem I had was he was so excited to see himself he got up on knees and started rocking. Reflecting more than I had hoped for! This is a "G" rated photo reflection.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Summer is flying by! August already. Birthdays, weddings, and lots of photography. The weather is fabulous, we are taking small trips and life is good. Last week we went to CA for the wedding below. It was wonderful. I love seeing the happiness overflow during a wedding day!
