Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Busy week, the rain has returned. We had a great go at sunshine. It hadn't rained since June, and now the temps have dropped, and fall is in the air.
Here are this week's prompts. As usual, I took a few liberties with the cues.
Bucket List
FINGERTIPS
The person operating the loom uses their fingertips to push the yarn through the strings.
FAITHFULNESS
This is a church in Santa Fe NM. The story goes that the church was unfinished and needed a staircase to get to the upper level. The nuns prayed for days and days. One day a stranger rode into town on a burro, locked himself in the sanctuary and then left without being paid. This is the staircase that he built. The nuns believe it was a saint, and others believe it was Jesus.
Then and Now
As I mentioned, we have had such lovely weather until Friday. Gotta take the good with the bad, and this rainbow in the early morning was the good.

I went to the balloon festival a couple years ago - what an experience to see the sky filled with them. (And what a rainbow sky you photographed!)

A few years ago I was in Albuquerque at Balloon Festival time. Unfortunately it was cancelled due to weather.
Gorgeous! Kindred spirits indeed. Wasn't the balloon festival so much fun? I would go every year if I could. Maybe next year we will continue on up to Santa Fe. Looks so beautiful!
