Wordless Wednesday at Suttle Lake

My mother died several years ago. She asked that her ashes be spread at her favorite spot, Suttle Lake. It took a while to find a time when family could get together, but we made it happen. Two nights at this lovely spot, family togetherness, games, children, fresh air. This was a good spot, and one that we will return to.

That first night we had a fabulous thunder and lightning storm. We all smiled, thinking that mom was up in heaven giving us the business and saying, "It's about time!"
