On this particular day, the sun was not shining, but strangely, there was no wind. We quickly shed our coats, shoes, and for some their clothes. The beach was waiting for us, and we would embrace this time.
Little Rowdy boy, who is almost three had never been to the Oregon coast. When he was six month's old, he was in San Diego, but seriously, does anyone remember what they did when they were six month's old?
He loved the ocean, like I love the ocean. He took it by the horns, rode those waves, and let it all out. It was a joy to behold. Rowdy's grandparents were our house guests for the weekend, and we all packed up for what was to be a perfect day at the beach. The finale' was dinner at our favorite spot. Nothing disappointed.

Oh MG these are so great! Love the one w/ Rowdy up in the air, awesome capture!! Also the one w/ him dipping his lil toes in the water... swoon.
You guys sure did catch what looked like a perfect day!
I really enjoy that kind of weather! Looks like such a great way to spend the day. Soaking it all in. I'm a blustery weather sort of person. :) Especially at the ocean- does fabulous things to the surf.
Great beach shots! There is no predicting the weather at the Oregon coast, but it is always a good time. I personally enjoy the winter storm time, as long as I am indoors with some amazing windows to protect me from the wind and cold!
Great photos with great beauty, I love all of the baby.
Love that shot on his toes, what a cutie!
What a great day at the beach!
what a cutie.. looks like so much fun!
What a precious time at the beach! I love the shot of Rowdy flying over the ocean!
More than 25 years ago, we used to drive to the Oregon Coast, generally Lincoln City, for vacation with our two young sons. Great memories. You have some wonderful photos here. I really like the family shot.
Great beach shots! Love the bird!
