Week in Rewsind....reflections

The weeks are slipping right through my fingers. Faster and faster, and before I know it, summer will cease to be here. We have been enjoying unseasonably warm weather, but that has passed, and now the final days of summer are a perfect temperature.

Here is a glimpse at the past week. Busy as a bee doesn't even begin to sum it up!

Little guy is obsessed with his cousin. He's always so sweet and giving her smooches to show her how much he loves her.

Having out of town friends stay with us was so much fun! We had the neighborhood garage sale and my house was reserved for the Park's foundation. We made $800.00 for the parks and it will help with a new play structure for a neighborhood that has an aging one that isn't the safest.

We headed to the beach yesterday, and the weather was perfect. No wind, and just a beautiful day. Little Rowdy had never been to the Oregon coast, and he was in heaven. Even though the ocean is like ice, he was having the best time running in and out of the shallow water.  We had dinner at our favorite restaurant and a lovely scenic drive home showing friends our college town, and finally settling at home before heading to bed.

Taking a deep breath, trying to enjoy the last week's of summer before they slip through my fingers.
