Oh it's been awhile since I've been on a hunt. This week's items were water, empty, fresh, weathered, and ordinary.
I've been in the state of Washington on the Long Beach peninsula enjoying friends, and clam digging. The weather has been divine. Sunny and 70's something that makes everything look brighter!
WEATHERED
|
It's always amazing to see a sand dollar in one piece with the beating they take from the waves and sand. This one is weathered on the edges. |
FRESH
|
Fresh clams before they're cleaned. |
ORDINARY
|
Just an ordinary swing made with rope and wood hanging from a tree. |
WATER
|
The water was low, and the boat is sitting high and dry. This is Oysterville where there are thousands of oysters. I love it here, so peaceful and beautiful. |
EMPTY
|
Empty crab pots lean against a building.

Clam digging sounds like great fun and those fresh ones look so good. Great swing shot and wonderful sand dollar find.
Happy Easter Mary.
I enjoyed your views of the west coast. Great shots - especially the water photo.
Such a great set. The clams are interesting. I've never seen the clam bit hanging out.
Lucky you visiting your friends on the coast. I love Long Beach.
Some great shots. I like the "weathered" sand dollar and the "empty" crab pots.
Happy Easter.
Love your weathered, water, and empty. I agree that whole sand dollars are amazing, and lovely. I would love to be at the beach! Instead I traveled to Wyoming to visit my parents for Spring break, and they have SNOW.
I love these shots - my youngest son is moving to Seattle in the next month or so & I've never been there. Your pics gave me a slight glimpse into the life he'll be learning to live all too soon.
Wonderful, wonderful set!
Love your pictures. The water shot really got my attention. Sorry I have not posted for a couple weeks. Have a great week. Thanks
