He was anxious, I could see it in his mood, he's a bit of a worrier. He started the walk to school at a faster pace when we were on the school grounds. He wanted me to stop when we hit the border, I told him I would walk him to the door. Then the dagger in the heart...."No more pictures Tutu, you're going to embarrass me" WHAT???? Every adult standing there had a camera, all were snap happy, but I listened, and took shots from afar, I tried not to embarrass him.
A quick shot with his mama before she left for work. It will be fun to look back and see where he stood next to the door getting taller and taller. |
New backpack, check. New pants, check, new shirt, check. Mr. Black & gray ready to start his day.
We do one jump shot each year to show how happy he is to start school.
The grumbling began...the sun was too bright!
This is where he started putting some space between us...

He is too cute!! Love the first day photo shoot! And such a good Tutu for not embarrassing him!
love it when the kiddos come home and have had the best day ever
He looks adorable! I hope he had a great day and made some new friends. I know he will treasure you standing there with that camera one day. Thank you for joining me today!
So cute...I mean completely cool (do they use that word anymore?)
It seems he is fit for the school days. Beautiful photos !
I love the first day shots! That is too funny that he asked you not to take his picture, its funny what kids will get upset about, even though everyone else is doing it too!
He is a cutie.I just had my first grandson last year and I just can't imagine how I will feel on his first day of school. It is fun seeing yours and imagining♥
